PRAISE THE LORD:

Taking a moment to thank God for the safe return of Stephen Burdette from his mission’s trip to the Sudan. We serve an awesome and faithful God.

MISSIONARIES:

In a recent Bulletin, a copy of an updated listing of Liberty’s support missionaries was given. If you were not here or did not get a copy, please be sure to pick one up on the Missions Table. We are asking all members to pray for each of the supported missionaries and their families. Additional contact information is provided and it would be a wonderful blessing to them if you would reach out with a card or small gift to let these families know that they are in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you, in advance, for your prayers.

FIFTH SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP LUNCHEON:

The next Fifth Sunday Fellowship Luncheon will be held on Sunday, March 29th immediately following the normal Sunday service. The selected theme for this luncheon is “Southern Comfort.” From spicy stews to creamy side dishes to crispy fried favorites, Southern Classics are the definition of comfort food. Some suggested menu ideas include: gumbo, jambalaya, red beans & rice, BBQ pulled pork, potato salad, fried green tomatoes, black-eyed peas, shrimp boil, fried chicken, Southern, baked mac & cheese…to name just a few. A sign-up sheet has been placed on the Missions Table next week, please let us know that you are coming and tell us what main dish, soup/salad, side dish or dessert you will be bringing.

FELLOWSHIP PLANNING CALENDAR:

We are interested in obtaining your ideas for various fellowship opportunities you would like to see scheduled with our church members during 2026. A few that will likely be scheduled again this year include Fifth Sunday Luncheons, Bowling, Craft Day(s), Swim Party and Movie Night. Further suggestions would be greatly appreciated. A “Suggestion Box” is being placed on top of the Black Mailbox Unit in the entranceway to the church. Please drop any suggestions you may have in that box.

SONG REQUESTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOMED:

Pastor invites each of us to help him select the hymns and contemporary Christian songs we sing for our Sunday services. In order for him to prepare for the Sunday service ahead of time, we have placed a Sign-up Sheet on the Welcome Table where you can write down your requests for him to consider.

IMPORTANT:

In June, we will be hosting a Vacation Bible School with the help of Mac-Care. A very important VBS Volunteer Interest meeting will be held on Sunday, March 22nd immediately following the regular service. Please prayerfully consider taking time to assist in some way for the June Vacation Bible School. Your help is needed. Learn lots more at this planning meeting!

SPRING CLEAN UP DAY:

It’s time again for our Spring Clean Up & Maintenance Day. It will be held on Saturday, March 28th beginning at 9 a.m. Painting and maintenance projects will need to be completed prior to the Easter season. A volunteer sign-up sheet has been placed next Sunday. Help us spruce up our building for the upcoming Easter service.
