WORSHIP & PRAISE SERVICE YESTERDAY:
Yesterday afternoon, Liberty Baptist Church and Holy City Motorcycle Ministry held a Praise and Worship Service that glorified our Lord and Saviour in many ways. The worship music was outstanding, and our very own, Liberty Baptist Worship Band with the addition of a drummer, sounded amazing and started off this great afternoon. There appeared to be approximately 150 people in attendance (perhaps even more). The Lord certainly answered our prayers for perfect weather conditions! Many thanks to everyone who put so much work into this event. A special shout out to many of our Liberty men who helped with getting our grounds ready (mowing) and handling the parking of vehicles and motorcycles like experts, and helping out in the prayer tent for those in need of prayer. The entire event was a huge Blessing.
WEDNESDAY EVENING PRAYER SERVICE:
Each Wednesday night, beginning at 6 p.m., we hold a short Bible study and Prayer Service. Beginning with the second Wednesday in September (September 9th) and on the second Tuesday of each month thereafter, we are going to have a potluck dinner for those in attendance. If you will be coming to the service, please plan to bring any type of casserole, salad or vegetable dish that you would like to share. It will be a true pot luck where what we have is what we have. Hope to enjoy this fellowship time with you.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE YARD SALE AT LBC:
A decision has been made to hold off on planning a Yard Sale here until Spring 2027. We regret disappointing anyone who was hoping to have it this Fall, but there is so much going on and we are concerned about there not being enough time for everyone to get items together for the sale. Moving it until Spring allows us to tell you about it now and you will have several months and winter clean-up time to gather items that you would like to put up for sale to benefit Liberty Baptist Church.
BONFIRE, ANYONE?:
We skipped a bonfire last year and so we are considering planning one for this year. A couple of ideas…if we hold the Bonfire in late September or early October, would anyone be interested in having it following the Wednesday evening Prayer Service? We normally end about 7 p.m. and the thought is that if we stay a couple of hours, it won’t be too late for kids that have school the next day or those who work. Or, is a Friday evening a possibility? We have typically held bonfires on Saturday evenings, which is the other option. See Jeanne with your thoughts or any other ideas you may have.
