7/4/2023 – DUAL EVENT Community Outreach
David Hardin of the Outreach Bible Project is coming to Waynesboro with a team of volunteers to witness and share God’s love with people. If you’re interested, you’re invited!
Event 1: Farmer’s Market – 9am to Noon
We’ll be renting a booth for our church, providing resources for the community, and having a blast doing it! We’ll be giving away free Gospel bracelets, John and Romans, and possibly cotton candy. The purpose is to share the Gospel and invest in the community, so if you’re interested in learning how the pros do it, you’re invited!
Event 2: Fourth of July Fireworks – 5/6pm to 9pm
Two other churches are hosting (or helping with) this year’s firework display in Waynesboro. We’ll be passing out tracts, literature, and getting to know the community! If you have somewhere else to be, support your family and friends by showing up for them!
7/19/2023 – Brent and Thom Rosenthal
The Rosenthal family are veteran missionaries to Thailand. They serve from Chiang Mai, one of the biggest cities in Thailand, and they’ll be joining us for the Wednesday night service!
8/5/2023 – The Flora Pool Party at Noon
Melvin and Kathy Flora are hosting an end-of-summer pool party! If you, your kids, or your grandkids would like to come, you’re invited! Chris Shocky will be cooking, and there will be food for all. Just let Kathy know how many you’re bringing so that she can buy the correct amount of food. Pray for good weather!
8/12/2023 – Avenue Trio Gospel singers at 6pm with special guest Danny Funderburk from the Cathedrals
The Christian music group, Avenue Trio, is an up-and-coming music group based out of Nashville Tennessee. Group members Kasey Kemp, Haley Kemp and Jonathan Mattingly combine their musical gifts to form this powerful and dynamic trio.
8/13/2023 – Faith Bible Institute at 6:00pm
If you want to know the Word of God, Faith Bible institute walks its students through the whole Bible over three years. It provides a general history, doctrine, apologetics and practical ways to live in faith.
The first two weeks of the Fall semester are free to sit in. This class will change your life.
8/23/2023 – Steve DeSantis
Steve uses the gift of illusions God gave him before salvation, and now he and his family enjoy serving Him with this tool! It is a unique ministry that draws people of all ages, and especially those who would not normally come to church! He and his family are a comedy, gospel, & illusions ministry for all ages! They’re sent out of Victory Baptist Church in Selinsgrove, PA.
