SONG REQUESTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOMED:
Pastor invites each of us to help him select the hymns and contemporary Christian songs we sing for our Sunday services. In order for him to prepare for the Sunday service ahead of time, we have placed a Sign-up Sheet on the Welcome Table where you can write down your requests for him to consider.
FRIENDLY REMINDER:
Be sure to occasionally check your mailbox in the main entrance lobby. While there is a lot less distribution of items outside of the Christmas holiday season, you never know when a brother or sister may send you a special card or note. There are a few mailboxes right now which have items in them. Thanks! If you don’t see a mailbox with your last name on it, please see Jeanne McCleaf so that she can take care of assigning one to you.
FELLOWSHIP ACTIVITY, ANYONE?
Looking to see if anyone is interested in having a “paint fellowship” (not painting the walls, but painting a picture or sign of some type). Typically, we would need between 8 and 10 people minimum to host such an event and the cost could range between $30–$45 dollars per person. Right now, just looking to see if there is enough interest to give it a go. Please place your name on the sign-up sheet located on the Missions Table if you have any interest in participating.
FOR OUR VISITORS:
It’s our pleasure to welcome you to Liberty Baptist Church. We’re so glad to see you and hope you are blessed today as we worship the Lord together. Please plan to stay for a short time of fellowship and donuts immediately following the service. It would be great to get to know you better. If you are a new visitor, feel free to grab a welcome bag which is located on the bottom shelf of the “Welcome” table in the entrance vestibule. If you would take a few minutes before the service to fill out the Information Card inside the welcome bag and place it in the box on the “Welcome” Table, it would be greatly appreciated.
PRAYER & PRAISE LIST:
A copy of the weekly Prayer and Praise Listing which is generated after the Wednesday evening services will be available for all who will pray for those people each week. Copies will be placed on top of the high-top round table sitting near the entrance to the sanctuary. Please feel free to take a copy or grab a picture for your phone.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL:
The next very important VBS Volunteer Meeting will be held next week immediately after the service on Sunday, April 19th. Please be sure to give some thought to coming up with suggestions for decorations, snacks and crafts. If you can find and have available samples of your ideas it will be greatly appreciated. If you have not yet turned in a volunteer form, please be sure to do so before you leave church today. All completed forms should be placed in the white chest that is located on the Missions Table.
