FOLLOWING OUR REVIVAL:
What an amazing four services we experienced from last Sunday morning, September 20th to the final evening on Wednesday, September 23rd. From the great hymns and worship songs that were sung, to the southern drawl of Bible preaching by our friend and brother in Christ, Brant Lane, it is hard to believe that any person in attendance could have come away unchanged. The Holy Spirit was surely in this place! Thank you to each of our members and guests who joined us every evening. Would each of you be willing to send a note of love and thanks to Brant, Michelle and Aaron for spending the times of fellowship and services with us? The Lane Family has been a part of the Liberty Baptist Church family from its new church build 4/5 years ago where Brant headed the building team! A stack of note cards and pre-addressed envelopes will be placed on the “Donut Table” and if you would grab one and commit to sending them a personal note, it would be greatly appreciated. A big Thank You is also sent to each member who helped with making our meal fellowship time a great blessing each and every night. Offering good old fashioned home cooked meals was very much appreciated! Now that our Revival Services are completed, we need to be sure not to become complacent and should keep the ball rolling. Let’s remember the messages on forgiveness and be sure to take care of any lingering areas of unforgiveness sooner rather than later. Let’s also be sure to keep the door of our hearts closed with maximum security in place. We must not allow Satan and the evils of this world into our hearts. We must boldly share the Gospel as each passing day brings us closer to His Return. We must not neglect spending Prayer Time with God in a special, quiet place (a prayer closet, for example) and pour out our praise & worship, our thanks for His provisions, our requests for the forgiveness of our sins, asking for His Will in our lives and that He deliver us from evil.
WEDNESDAY EVENING PRAYER SERVICE:
The next 2nd Wednesday Pot Luck Dinner will be on Wednesday, October 14th and we are planning to follow the pot luck dinner with an outdoor Bonfire where we will sing, have a short message from Pastor Rodney and offer up our Prayer Requests. We are trying different nights of the week in hopes of increasing participation.

CHRISTMAS IS AROUND THE CORNER…WE NEED TO DECIDE ON A CHRISTMAS PROJECT TO BLESS OTHERS IN THE COMMUNITY.
Last year, we blessed the residents at two nursing home facilities with special Christmas bags filled with items that would be useful for them. We had a great time delivering these bags and getting to meet many of the residents. Would love to receive suggestions on what we can do this year to bless others (and ourselves in the wonderful process)! If you have any suggestions on what we can do this year, please place a note in the Suggestion Box which is located on top of the large black “mailboxes” located just inside the entrance area as you come into the church (ladies room side). If you can provide your suggestion(s) before September 20th, it will be greatly appreciated. Note: One suggestion received: Operation Christmas Child Boxes — Thoughts?????
