As Jesus began His personal ministry on Earth, he chose those whom He would teach the foundation of the faith which we now call Christianity. Jesus chose out 12 men that he would teach for three-and-a-half years. Jesus’ first disciples had vastly different backgrounds, from fisherman to tax collector. Jesus had a plan and purpose for them all. In this day and age Jesus is still making disciples out of ordinary people like us but by His power in our lives we are able to do extraordinary things.
