Liberty Baptist Church of Rouzerville believes that there is one true and living God. We believe that God is the creator and sustainer of all things.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God and was born of a virgin, led a perfect life and died for the sins of the world, was buried, and rose again from the grave.
Sin’s Cause:
We believe that God created a perfect Earth with perfect people (Adam and Eve), but that those people in rebellion sinned against Him in the garden of Eden causing sin to pass upon all of mankind.
Mankind’s Problem:
Because of sin mankind would be eternally lost and separated from God.
The Only Solution:
God, not willing that any should perish, made a way for mankind to be redeemed back to Him. Jesus Christ ( The only begotten Son of God) came to this Earth in the form of a man born of a virgin nearly 2000 years ago. He came to be a substitute for sinful mankind by paying the price that they/we owed. Jesus was able to pay the price for all sin because He was God in the flesh and He was sinless.
The Gift of Eternal Life Through Jesus Christ:
Jesus died on a wooden cross so that He could pay for my sins, for your sins. Jesus was placed in a tomb but victoriously rose again from the grave after three days and three nights, conquering death and sin.
WHAT MUST YOU DO TO BE SAVED FROM YOUR SINS AND FORGIVEN OF THEM?
The Bible teaches that if you call out on the name of Jesus, believing Jesus died on the cross to pay for your sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, you can be saved and have power over death and sin as well. John 3:16, Romans 6:23, 1Corinthians 15:1-4
We at Liberty Baptist Church believe that we have been commissioned to carry this good news to the world. We believe that God has given us His Word and His Spirit to guide us.
